2005: A Year To RememberIt was an exciting year for E-News; take a look back at Tufts’ top newsmakers in 2005.

Medford/Somerville, Mass. [12.31.05] It was a busy year for Tufts students, faculty and alumni, who captured media headlines around the world in 2005. From Pierre and Pam Omidyar's landmark $100 million gift to their alma mater to support international microfinance initiatives to Tufts experts' commentary on Hurricane Katrina and the war in Iraq, international news organizations such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio, BusinessWeek, The Chronicle of Higher Education, CNN and more, featured Tufts' finest individuals and highlighted their accomplishments throughout the year.
