Another TV Series Adds Tufts To Its Resume
Kim Cole's Character In "The Geena Davis Show" Boasts Tufts Degree With Honors

Hollywood, Calif. -- While Tufts diplomas are commonplace behind the scenes in Hollywood, this year marks a rapid increase in their visibility on screen. On Tuesday, another prime-time series added a Tufts diploma to its on-screen resume.

During the latest episode of "The Geena Davis Show," the sitcom's writers revealed that Judy Owens -- Kim Coles' character on the series -- holds a Tufts degree with honors.

Coles' character is the second in a month to declare a Tufts connection. In late October, a character on NBC's "Ed" joined Tufts' fictional alumni ranks.

Tufts has also made cameo appearances on several other TV series this fall. Banners from the University were featured in a recent episode of Dawson's Creek -- the WB's hit drama. The Tufts campus is also featured in the opening credits of "Sabrina: The Teenage Witch" as the location for John Adams College -- the fictional university attended by the series' lead character.
