Tufts Grad Makes Cameo On "Ally McBeal", "Angel"
Human Rights Attorney and Fletcher Grad Pokes Fun At Her Trade.

Medford/Somerville, Mass. -- When she's not working as an attorney in Los Angeles, Beth Persky plays one on TV. A 1990 graduate of Tufts' Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Persky made a cameo appearance on Fox's Ally McBeal which aired on Monday night. Playing a member of the "Women of Virtue Bar Chapter", Persky appeared alongside the sitcom's star, Calista Flockhart, during a restaurant scene.

According to the Boston Globe, the Los Angeles-based human rights attorney also appears in an episode of the WB's drama "Angel" this season. "She worked on the vampire-themed series "Angel" and was part of a scene in which the soulless bloodsuckers descend upon a cocktail party of lawyers," reports the Globe.

Persky told them, "It becomes a bad lawyer joke, because the good vampire refuses to save the lawyers," Persky said. "So that will be me lying on the floor in a pool of blood."
