Making Magic On Stage

Local artists on exhibit

Each summer, Tufts' Magic Circle Theater gives young actors a chance to take center stage in a production at Tufts' Balch Arena Theater.

Medford/Somerville, Mass. [9.18.06] Tufts University's Magic Circle Theater program, the oldest theater camp in New England run by children and for children, gives aspiring young actors a taste of life behind the scenes--and in the spotlight--of a theatrical production. From creating costumes and scenery to playing major roles on stage, children from local communities have an opportunity to spend six weeks at Tufts each summer pursuing their passion for drama.

Watch this video overview to learn more about Tufts' Magic Circle Theater program and its impact on the children who participate each year.
