New Album By Tufts Trio, Papas Fritas
Medford/Somerville, Mass. – National Public Radio's David Greenberger had nothing but praise for "Buildings and Grounds," the newest album from the trio of Tufts alums -- Papas Fritas. "Buildings and Grounds finds Papas Fritas delivering on every promise of their youth in ways both unexpected and undeniable," lauds Greenberger on NPR's "All Things Considered." Formed at Tufts in 1992, the band (Tony Goddess, Shivika Asthana, and Keith Gendel) is in its seventh year and has five albums to its credit. Greenberger isn't the only one to praise the bands new release. Jonathan Perry of the Boston Pheonix has this to say: "This is easily their most polished, cohesive effort to date and it just might be the best record of their seven-year career."
