Trimmer and Biomedical Engineering Professor David Kaplan co-direct the Biomimetic Technologies for Soft-bodied Robots project, which is comprised of seven Tufts faculty members from five departments in the School of Engineering and the School of Arts and Sciences. Last year, the project received a $730,000 grant from the W.M. Keck Foundation.

The Dean's Faculty Forum, founded by School of Arts and Sciences Dean Robert Sternberg shortly after his arrival in fall 2005 to feature the research and scholarship of faculty members from Arts and Sciences, is held once per semester.
